The subject  event is only a little over a week away and we still have plenty of spots available. Please pass along the attached registration information to swimmers and their parents  in your network encouraging them to participate  and benefit from this experience.

I just want to provide an update on the subject. The Jose Cerda Aquatic Foundation (JCAF) has now received over $3,000 in donations from more than 30 local businesses as shown in the attached.  These items will be raffled at the JCAF event on April 21st.
Also,  Kevin Youkilis, a former Sycamore alumnus and now professional baseball player and Wolf Wigo, the former water polo Olympian,  are donating autographed items to the JCAF.
We are very grateful to the Community for the extraordinary support; as none of this would be possible without it.

LHS Divers Matt Swaine and Michael Louis competed in Southwest District Diving Championships last night. Matt finished 3rd with a score of 437.05. Michael finished 16th with a score of 291.95.

Megan Day (100 Free, 100 Back), Kate Randall (200 Free, 500 Free), Audrey Jewell (100 Fly, 100 Back), Dani Wheeler (100 Back, 100 Fly) qualified for Districts. The 200 Medley & 400 Free Relays qualified as well. Complete results have not been posted on swimmeet.com. Additional information will be posted once the final results have been posted.

Andrew Albert qualified for the Southwest District Championship meet in the 100 Freestyle and 200 Individual Medley. He swam a 48.93 in the 100 Free placing him 6th at the Sectional Meet held at Mason High School. With that time he goes in to Districts seeded 9th overall.  In the 200 IM he swam a 2:01.93 placing him 3rd at Mason. That time sends him to Districts seeded 10th overall.
The girls are competing this morning at Mason.
